Ghost haunts Utah Museum?

In the early morning hours of October 10th 2007, the Utah Pioneer State Museum security monitors caught a scary ghost on camera. Read the whole Scary Story!

For instance one of them is this clear image of what appears to be a ladies face. This ghost image lingered in front of the survalence cameras, it was clearly visible the whole time.

This ghost appeared on October 10, 2007. The picture was triggered from a motion sensitive camera, and persisted for 5 minutes on the monitor at the museum security, but when officers investigated they found no sign of life in the museum. The camera lenses were cleaned and other explanations were investigated.

The ghost appeared 4 nights during and 8 night stretch of monitoring.

What is it with Scary Ghosts and Staircases anyway?

Haunted Room, this is the first picture we have seen with what may be a ghost in it.

It is a picture of the one room at the St. Charles Hotel kept like the original tiny rooms in the 1800s.

I took this photo and it seems to have many unexplained apparitions in it.
For example the blue light coming from his chair might resemble a leg being crossed over the other. And if you look at the bed where his head would have been you might be able to see what looks to be a tombstone, the reason I say this is because of the shape and the engraving/carving on it.

And if you look to the right of the bed, two parallel lines seem to resemble a wall but
There was no wall; it was just a square room.

On the left of the room you may see a reflective piece of metal. It seems to be reflecting the picture on the wall but the picture reflects a piece of a face back to the piece of metal that seems to come out of the piece of metal and resemble a shadowy piece of the rest of the head.

This type of thing has happened before whenever there is a mirror or a reflective piece of hardware lying about the room the ghost seems to place its shadow somewhere in that room so that it reflects on the piece of hardware and makes out a face/body in the reflection when you take a picture although this is kind of spooky this ghost wants you to know that thery’re there.

This was a picture my dad took of the scary elavater. the elavater was pitch black before the camera flash lit it up. if you look closaly you can see small orbs.

This old elevator is in the ‘Godfather’ pizza basement in the ‘Depot’ in Cedar City, Utah. Dean the manager said that the workers here noises and that th e basement is very scary.

Scary Ghosts Pictures in Millionaires Club Virginia City

Virginia City is a great town for ghost hunting, or just to visit great history.

This spiral stairway is said to be very like the one in the ‘Loretto Chapel’. No supports, no nails, just a standing spiral. The room is small and creepy, the feeling is scary, all my pictures have scary images, like orbs or glowing lights, even the shadows off of the chandelier are scary.

Scary Ghosts Pictures in Washoe Club Virginia City

The Spiral Staircase of the ‘Millionairs Club’ in Virginia City Nevada has a lot of scary ghosts haunting it. It is in the center of the Washoe Club on Main St.

The Washoe has a large front room with a bar, a small center room with the baths and this staircase, another large backroom with a scary story about the back room where they used to keep dead bodies in winter when the ground was frozen too hard to dig.

Everyone had Scary Stories about ghosts appearing in the bar, scary occurances, out in the street in front of the bar, and children appearing on the Spiral Staircase (Identical to Loretto Chapel Staircase), which is very creepy.

When you exit the baths you have this view of the staircase. One scary story is about a lady who exited the bathroom to see a boy reflected in the mirror. People aren’t allowed to use the staircase now, so she told him to get off the stairs. Patron in the bar heard her scream when the child simply vanished.

The story is very scary, about the Ghost of this little boy, who was killed by a horse drawn wagon in the 1800s, and is often seen around the Washoe Club.

Scary Ghost on Tulip Staircase

This famous picture of a ghost is one of the most reliably investigated pictures, verified to be authentic, and also one that creeps us out, a lot!

The staircase is called the ‘Tulip Staircase’, and the photographer (Ralph Hardy) is said to have taken the photo because the staircase is beautiful and unique. Of course, on seeing it after processing, it contained the image of the hand and head in a shroud.

Photo experts are said to have found no tampering, and other sitings are seen near this staircase in a Maritime Museum in England.

The ghost is climbing the stairs, with his head bent down, his left hand on the rail, right hand reaching forward. Another scary feature is that the forward hand looks to me to be also a left hand, even has a wedding ring.

These scary pictures are from the Discovery Museum in Old Sacramento California.

We visit many supposedly haunted locations every year, and we have to say that this one is considered by EVERY employee, and docent who works there to be EXTREMELY haunted. We even encountered a film crew and ghosthunting group led by a medium who claimed to see two ghosts while we were there.

It is interesting that even the Winchester Mansion does not have the eerie feeling, or the employees willing to share frightening stories, that the Discovery Museum has aplenty.

The two scary parts of the Discovery Museum are;

• Community hall, where many scary photographs, and personal effects of local citizens are displayed in a disarming and macabre way. It is perhaps most disconcerting that none of it appears to have been intentionally frightening at all.
• The building history, for which you will have to do some research to learn, is scary as well.
  At one time the Discovery Museum was the Jail, and two people were hanged to death in the basement.This picture is from community hall, and shows a childs costume from the early 1900s. The way in which the costume is displayed is not meant to be scary, but the overall disembodied clothing display has a macabre effect in Community Hall.

Other displays are a coach that was owned by Leland Stanford for which Stanford University is named. Employees claimed to have seen ghosts inside the coach, most often women. And the ghost hunting group found (they claimed) the ghost of a man and teenage girl standing near it during their visit.

The look of the display creates the scary feeling in the community hall.

Many people claim to see scary ghosts in this coach, and a spiritualist claims that a ghost was standing right in front of the coach near the wheel. She said we should “close our eyes, and open them slowly” to see the ghost.

She said the man was in his fifties and had a teenage girl with him. Many people had cameras and other electronic equipment, there were about 20 in her group.

We tried to close our eyes and squint to see the ghost, but neither me nor my dad could see it.
